Sturdevant, Elliot (? - 14 Augl 1914)
Friends here received notice last week that Elliott Sturdevant had died at his home in Centralia, Wash., Aug. 14, 1914. Death was due to a stroke of paralysis.
Deceased was born and grew to manhood on the old Sturdevant farm in south Pine Valley, Clark County. He was married to Miss Nellie Hillyer in 1896 and for some time lived in Neillsville, where he worked at the carpenter trade. About eight years ago they went west. He leaves a wife, a little son about 11 years of age and a young baby.
He was a man of high character and much respected. Many old friends here sympathize with his bereaved wife and family.
